Hinsdale’s Milk River Access
Hinsdale is situated at one of the few places along the Milk River that is wide enough for swimming, motor boating, skiing/boarding, kayaking, and jet skiing. At the Milk River Park you will find a boat ramp, dock, an outhouse and firepits. The park is well maintained by town volunteers.

Milk River Days
Hinsdale hosts the Milk River Days each 3 & 4 of July.
The celebration begins with a rodeo and free street dance in downtown Hinsdale on July 3rd. On the 4th the parade begins at 11:00 am on Main Street, followed by kids’ games, horseshoe, ping pong drop, barbecue and free fireworks at dusk. Other activities include water fun on the Milk, quick draw pistol shoot and cannon shoot.
